After winning the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad opted to bat first and were bowled out for 165 runs in 19 overs. Travis Head played a standout innings, scoring a quickfire 61 off just 28 balls, providing the main momentum for his team.
In response, Kolkata Knight Riders chased down the target efficiently, reaching 169/3 in just 18.2 overs. Angkrish Raghuvanshi led the batting effort with a solid 59, anchoring the chase and guiding his team to victory.
With this win, KKR strengthened their position in the tournament, while despite the loss, Sunrisers Hyderabad retained their 3rd place in the points table.
