Coimbatore Volunteers Unite to Protect Water Bodies Through ‘Noyyal Thirunilaigal’ Initiative

In a remarkable display of community spirit and environmental responsibility, more than 100 volunteers in Coimbatore joined hands for a large-scale cleanliness and awareness campaign aimed at protecting the region's precious water bodies.
The initiative was organized by ‘Noyyal Thirunilaigal’, a non-profit, volunteer-driven movement dedicated to the conservation and restoration of water resources. The campaign emphasized a powerful message: water bodies are not merely geographical features but essential lifelines that sustain communities, ecosystems, and future generations.
Through the cleanup drive and awareness activities, volunteers highlighted the urgent need to protect lakes, ponds, rivers, and other water resources from pollution, encroachment, and neglect.
