In a major infrastructure development, a proposal worth ₹500 crore has been announced to build an international-standard cricket stadium in the city. The project aims to position Coimbatore as a key destination for national and international cricket events.
Additionally, Indian Railways has extended special train services via Coimbatore to manage increased passenger demand. Authorities are also conducting awareness campaigns to improve voter turnout in rural and urban areas.
