Jason Sanjay Says His Father Vijay’s Biggest Gift Was the Love of His Fans

Actor Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay is set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming Tamil film ‘Sigma’, which is scheduled to release in theatres on October 2, 2026. Starring Sundeep Kishan in the lead role, the film is described as an action, adventure and heist comedy.
During a promotional event for the film, Jason Sanjay was asked about the gift his father Vijay had given him for his first movie. As fans cheered loudly, Jason pointed towards the audience and responded with a smile, saying that “all of them” were the gift.
Jason Sanjay also revealed that Vijay will not be promoting ‘Sigma’. According to Jason, he wants the film’s promotional activities to remain focused on the movie itself. He also said that Vijay currently has several responsibilities as Chief Minister, which is another reason for his decision not to have his father promote the film.
Jason added that Vijay is waiting for the film’s release and is very interested in watching it.
‘Sigma’ is produced by Lyca Productions, with music composed by Thaman. The film features Sundeep Kishan, Faria Abdullah, Raghu Sundaram, Anbudasan, Yogi Babu, Sampath Raj and others in important roles.
The film was originally scheduled to release on July 31 but was later postponed to October 2, 2026. The trailer and music of ‘Sigma’ are scheduled to be released on September 18.
