After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Nellai Royal Kings delivered a powerful batting performance to post an imposing total of 204/6 in their allotted 20 overs. The batters maintained an aggressive approach throughout the innings, putting the Chepauk bowlers under constant pressure and setting a daunting target.
In reply, Chepauk Super Gillies struggled to keep up with the required run rate and lost wickets at regular intervals. Despite brief resistance from the middle order, the team was bowled out for 154 in just 17.2 overs.
