KVIM Business School Organises 5-Day Faculty Development Programme on Ancient Wisdom and Modern Management

KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIM Business School), Coimbatore, successfully organised a 5-Day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled "Imbibing Effective Management and Corporate Principles from Ancient Wisdom" from July 20 to July 24, 2026. The programme was jointly organised with Rashmivat Edutech Pvt. Ltd. and conducted through Google Meet from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM each day.

The programme attracted 71 registered participants and was designed to help faculty members explore timeless leadership and management principles from ancient wisdom traditions while understanding their relevance to modern corporate and academic environments.

Dr. Madhan Shankar, Founder and CEO of Ashwinis Herbs and Foods and Director of Rashmivat Edutech Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., served as the Chief Guest and resource person for all five sessions. Throughout the programme, he shared valuable insights into management, leadership, ethics, governance, and organisational excellence by drawing inspiration from various wisdom traditions.

Programme Highlights

Day 1 – Hinduism
Management and leadership principles inspired by Hindu philosophy and ancient Indian wisdom.

Day 2 – Bible
Servant leadership, ethical decision-making, and organisational excellence based on the teachings of the Bible.

Day 3 – Quran
Corporate governance, business ethics, accountability, and responsible leadership rooted in the Quran.

Day 4 – Buddhism and Jainism
Mindful leadership, sustainable management practices, self-discipline, and compassionate decision-making.

Day 5 – Sikhism and Other Wisdom Traditions
Human-centric leadership, universal values, inclusivity, and principles for building ethical organisations.

Faculty members actively participated in all five sessions, engaging in meaningful discussions that connected ancient philosophies with present-day organisational challenges. The sessions encouraged participants to reflect on ethics, governance, mindfulness, and people-centric leadership while applying these principles to academic administration, institutional development, and team management.

E-certificates were awarded to eligible participants upon successful completion of the programme.

The Faculty Development Programme received an overwhelmingly positive response from participants and marked another successful academic initiative by KVIM Business School.
