The political atmosphere in Tamil Nadu is heating up as the 2026 Assembly elections approach. The election is scheduled for April 23, with counting set for May 4. Political parties have intensified their campaigns, and nominations are being filed across constituencies.
In the education sector, the government continues to implement the Right to Education (RTE) Act, ensuring 25% reservation for economically weaker sections in private schools.
Public safety measures are also being upgraded, with Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation planning to install GPS tracking devices and panic buttons in buses to enhance passenger security.
