NTPC Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 40 Assistant Chemist (Trainee) Vacancies Before July 10

NTPC Limited, India's largest integrated power generation company, has released Recruitment Notification No. 09/2026 inviting online applications for 40 Assistant Chemist (Trainee) (ACT) vacancies. Eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official NTPC website on or before July 10, 2026.

A total of 40 vacancies have been announced for the post of Assistant Chemist (Trainee). Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹30,000 to ₹1,20,000 after successful completion of training.

Applicants must possess a First Class M.Sc. degree in Chemistry. Candidates belonging to the SC and ST categories are required to have only a pass in the qualifying examination. The maximum age limit is 27 years. Age relaxation will be provided for SC, ST, OBC, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates as per Government of India rules.

The selection process consists of an online written examination followed by an interview. The written test will include questions on Chemistry, aptitude, reasoning, and general knowledge. Candidates who qualify will be called for document verification, during which all original certificates must be produced.

Selected candidates will undergo one year of training with a monthly stipend of ₹30,000. Only those who successfully complete the training will be appointed as permanent employees of NTPC.

Candidates selected for permanent appointment must submit a service bond. The bond value is ₹2,50,000 for General, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC, ST, and PwD candidates are required to submit a bond worth ₹1,25,000. Details regarding the written examination date, venue, and other instructions will be communicated through email.

The application fee is ₹500 for General and OBC candidates. Women candidates, as well as applicants belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories, are exempted from paying the application fee. The fee must be paid online using the payment option available on the official NTPC website.
