Jc N Karthikeyan installed as the President of JCI Coimbatore Marutham

Jc N Karthikeyan was installed as the 18th President of JCI Coimbatore Marutham in a well organised installation ceremony held on Monday, 23 February 2026 at PSG Institute of Management Hall from 06.00 PM to 07.30 PM

Jc.Kumaravelan, Mentor, JCI Coimbatore Marutham welcomed the gathering. In the presence of Chief Guest, Jc.Dr.G.Subramanian, Past National President, JCI India, Guests of Honour, Jc.Premsharan, Zone President, Zone 17, Jc.Ashok Bhat, Past NVP, Jc.Palaniappan, Past ZVP, Jc.Dhandapani, Zone Vice President, Zone 17 Jc..Jesco Mohamed,Area Coordinator and other JCI leaders and members, Jc.N.Karthikeyan was installed by presenting the presidential collar and pin. In his short and powerful acceptance speech, Jc N Karthikeyan mentioned that he would work towards ensuring leadership in circular economy, waste management and sustainability. He also explained his pragmatic short term goals for strengthening the LO and prudent long term goals for enhancing sustainability. 

Jc.Premsharan, Zone President, Zone 17, JCI India expressed his happiness in being part of the installation and among a very young and vibrant team of Jaycees. He revealed his admiration for the knowledge and attitude of President Jc Karthikeyan in sustainability initiatives. He assured his fullest support and also highlighted that the club in 18th year is all set to get into a phase of matured leadership. 

Jc.Ashok Bhat, Past National Vice President, JCI India requested the LO to carve a niche for itself through its sustainability initiatives. He appreciated the pragmatic approach of the president and dynamic nature of new team and hoped the combination would yield great results. 

Jc.Palaniappan, Past Zone President and well wisher of the LO recollected the journey of the LO from day one and appreciated the founder Jc Kumaravelan, Charter President Jc Deepa Kumaravelan and the past leaders. He opined that time flew fast and asked Jc Karthikeyan to enhance the identity and utility of JCI Coimbatore Marutham. 

The Chief Guest, Jc.Dr.G.Subramaniam enthralled the audience with a power packed address. He shared stories and anecdotes that emphasised the role of JCI in carving better leaders out of individuals and thereby ensuring a much better and bright society. He infused a sense of pride in members for being a part of the largest global network of leaders and motivated them to grab the opportunities provided by JCI to make the world a more positive, more powerful and more pristine place. 

The installation was attended by members of JCI Coimbatore Marutham, family members of the office bearers, past presidents of JCI Coimbatore Marutham, leaders from other JCI LOs in Coimbatore and officials from Zone 17, JCI India.
