Over 30,183 Government Job Vacancies Announced in Tamil Nadu and Central Government Departments
More than 30,183 government job vacancies have been announced across Tamil Nadu and central government departments, including nursing, banking, SSC and NCRTC recruitments.

Chennai: More than 30,183 vacancies have been announced through various recruitment notifications issued by Tamil Nadu government departments, central government organizations and other government institutions.
The vacancies include 4,724 contractual Staff Nurse positions under the Tamil Nadu National Health Mission, 13,706 vacancies under the IBPS RRB recruitment linked to Tamil Nadu Grama Bank and other regional rural banks, recruitments through SSC and other central government departments, 90 vacancies in NCRTC, as well as positions in the Tamil Nadu Transport Department and other government organizations.
For the 4,724 Staff Nurse positions, candidates with GNM or B.Sc Nursing qualifications are eligible to apply, subject to the conditions specified in the official recruitment notification. The application deadline is September 25, 2026, at 5 PM.
The IBPS RRB recruitment includes positions such as Office Assistant and Officer posts, with a total of 13,706 vacancies announced. The application deadline for this recruitment ended on September 21, 2026.
NCRTC has also announced recruitment for 90 positions, with applications scheduled to remain open until October 10, 2026, according to the recruitment notification.
