Employees who are registered voters in the Madurantakam or Dharapuram constituencies but work in nearby areas, including parts of Chengalpattu and Tiruppur districts, are also required to be provided paid leave on October 6 so they can travel to their respective polling stations and cast their votes.
The holiday arrangements are intended to facilitate voter participation and ensure that eligible voters can exercise their right to vote on polling day.
