TAMIL NADU MEN CLINCH A HAT-TRICK OF SENIOR 3 x 3 BASKETBALL TROPHY

In the 5th National Senior 3 x 3 Basketball Tournament organised by Basketball Federation of India and Delhi Basketball Association at KD Jadhav Indoor Stadium New Delhi from 29 January 2026 to 31 January 2026, Tamil Nadu Men and Kerala Women emerged as the champions. This served as the repeat of 4th Senior 3 x 3 Basketball championships held on January 2025 where both the teams emerged as champions. In fact, Tamil Nadu completes a hat-trick of 3 x 3 titles winning it for the past three years in succession. 

A total of 29 teams took part in the Senior Men's 3 x 3 competition. Tamil Nadu best Uttar Pradesh 22-20 in a very well contested close final. Indian Railways pipped Rajasthan to claim the 3rd prize.

In the Senior Women's 3 × 3 competition, a total of 23 teams participated. Kerala beat Indian Railways in a very competitive finals with scoreline of 14 - 12. Delhi edged out Tamil Nadu for the 3rd place.

Shri Ashish Sood, Minister, Government of Delhi was the Chief Guest of Valedictory ceremony and gave away the prizes.  Aadhav Arjuna, President, BFI and Mukesh Kalia, President, Delhi Basketball Association presided the ceremony.

TN Men were represented by Arvind Muthu, Pranav Prince, Mirthun Vel and  Pragalathan Senthamaraikannan while 
TN Women were represented by Nitika, Harima Sundari, Anbarasi and Krithika

The 5th 3x3 Senior National Basketball Championship brought together top basketball talent from various states and units across India. The short and exciting format of basketball wins has garnered a lot of attention among fans. It also offers players a platform for national recognition.
