KVIM Business School Celebrates World Entrepreneurs Day 2026 with Focus on Empowering Young Minds
Coimbatore, August 22, 2026:
KV Institute of Management and Information Studies (KVIM Business School – Autonomous), Coimbatore, celebrated World Entrepreneurs Day 2026 with an engaging entrepreneurship-focused programme aimed at inspiring young minds to embrace innovation, creativity and leadership.
The programme was organised by the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), KVIM, at the Conference Hall of the institution. The event was conducted from 9.00 a.m. to 11.00 a.m. with the theme “Empowering Young Minds to Innovate, Create and Lead.”
The programme featured Mr. M. Prasanna Kumar, Founder & CEO, Nedunal Yaanaai Upscale Solution Pvt. Ltd., who interacted with students and shared practical insights on entrepreneurship, innovation, business creation and startup development.
The session emphasised that age should not be considered a limitation for entrepreneurship. Young minds can become powerful drivers of innovation by identifying meaningful problems and developing effective solutions.
The speaker highlighted the importance of moving from an idea to a validated solution by understanding customer problems, developing a minimum viable product (MVP), testing it with real users, gathering feedback and continuously improving the solution.
Students were also introduced to key aspects of building a startup, including innovation beyond technology, customer validation, sales and marketing, startup funding, investor readiness, business scalability and leadership.
Various startup funding avenues, including bootstrapping, government schemes, incubators and accelerators, angel investors and venture capital, were discussed during the session.
A special emphasis was placed on the role of Artificial Intelligence as a powerful leverage for young entrepreneurs. Students were encouraged to use AI for research, product development, automation, analysis and customer engagement while retaining human ownership, judgement and leadership.
The programme also introduced students to a 90-day Young Founder Challenge. The initiative encourages aspiring entrepreneurs to identify a real-world problem, interact with potential customers, develop an MVP, acquire initial users, measure traction, prepare a pitch and explore suitable funding and incubation opportunities.
The programme reinforced the message that successful entrepreneurship begins with identifying a genuine problem, creating meaningful value and taking action. Students were encouraged to “Think Bigger, Start Smaller, Move Faster, Create Value and Lead the Change.”
The celebration concluded with an inspiring message encouraging young participants to move beyond simply observing the changing business environment and become innovators, creators and future entrepreneurs capable of developing solutions with meaningful social and economic impact.
“Innovate. Create. Lead.” was the central message of the celebration, reflecting KVIM Business School’s commitment to nurturing an entrepreneurial and innovation-oriented mindset among young management students.
