Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin inaugurated the “Kalvich Silai – Kattranai Thoorum Arivu” statue at Marina Beach on Kamarajar Salai in Chennai.
The statue was installed by the School Education Department of Tamil Nadu at a cost of ₹1.43 crore as part of an initiative to promote the importance of education and knowledge.
During the event, the Chief Minister also released a book titled “Kattranai Thoorum Arivu.”
The newly unveiled statue is intended to symbolize the value of learning and the continuous flow of knowledge, highlighting the state government’s commitment to strengthening education and inspiring students.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from the education department and other government representatives.
