Coimbatore Power Shutdown on July 4, 2026: TNPDCL Announces Maintenance Outage in Several Areas
TNPDCL has announced a scheduled power shutdown in parts of Coimbatore on July 4, 2026, from 9 AM to 4 PM due to maintenance work at the Madukkarai 110 KV Substation.
The Tamil Nadu Power Distribution Corporation (TNPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown in several parts of Coimbatore on Saturday, July 4, 2026, to facilitate essential maintenance work at the Madukkarai 110 KV Substation. According to the official notification, electricity supply will remain suspended from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM in Sellappampalayam, Pothiyampalayam, Vagarayampalayam, parts of Neelambur, Kurumbapalayam, Rasipalayam, and Uthupalayam. Residents, commercial establishments, and industrial units located in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements in advance to minimize inconvenience during the scheduled outage. TNPDCL stated that power supply will be restored immediately after the maintenance work is successfully completed, subject to operational conditions.
