ECIL Recruitment 2026: Walk-in Interview for Engineers and ITI Candidates on April 18 in Chennai

Electronics Corporation of India Limited (ECIL), a leading Miniratna public sector enterprise under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has announced a recruitment drive for multiple contract-based positions across its business divisions. The organization plays a crucial role in strategic sectors such as nuclear energy, defense, space, information technology, telecommunications, homeland security, and e-governance, and is known for manufacturing advanced technologies including electronic voting machines, control systems, and communication equipment.

ECIL has released Notification No. 07/2026 inviting eligible and experienced candidates to attend a walk-in interview for positions including Project Engineer, Technical Officer, Assistant Project Engineer, and Senior Artisan. The recruitment is on a contract basis initially for one year, which may be extended up to four years based on project requirements and performance.

For the Project Engineer role, candidates must have a degree in engineering (CSE/IT) with at least 60% marks along with a minimum of three years of work experience. The salary ranges from ₹40,000 per month in the first year to ₹55,000 per month in the third year, and the upper age limit is 33 years.

For the Technical Officer position, candidates should have a degree in engineering (CSE/IT) with 60% marks and at least one year of experience. The salary starts at ₹25,000 per month and goes up to ₹31,000, with an age limit of 30 years.

For Assistant Project Engineer, candidates must have an engineering degree in electronics with 60% marks and one year of experience. The monthly salary is ₹25,506, and the age limit is 30 years.

For Senior Artisan, candidates should have completed ITI with two years of work experience. The salary is ₹23,368 per month, and the age limit is 30 years.

Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms, with 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
