Assembly Elections 2026: Puducherry, Kerala, Assam Record Steady Voter Turnout by 11 AM
Voter turnout reaches 37.70% in Puducherry, 32.60% in Kerala, and 37.98% in Assam by 11 AM in ongoing Assembly elections.
The Election Commission of India has released the voter turnout figures for the ongoing Assembly elections in Puducherry, Kerala, and Assam as of 11 AM.
Polling is being conducted in a single phase across 30 constituencies in Puducherry, 140 in Kerala, and 126 in Assam. Voting began at 7 AM and is progressing steadily.
According to official data, Puducherry recorded a voter turnout of 37.70 percent, while Kerala saw 32.60 percent polling. Assam reported the highest turnout among the three with 37.98 percent voters casting their votes by 11 AM.
Polling will continue until 6 PM today, and the counting of votes is scheduled to take place on May 4.
Authorities have ensured necessary arrangements for smooth and secure polling, with voters turning out in significant numbers across all three regions.
