The award acknowledges Coimbatore district's outstanding achievements in the implementation and delivery of government programmes, with exemplary performance recorded across 20 departments, including the Health and Family Welfare Department.
The recognition reflects the district administration's commitment to efficient governance, effective public service delivery, and successful execution of various welfare and development initiatives benefiting the people of Coimbatore.
