Gold prices have declined in Tamil Nadu today, with the price of 22-carat gold falling compared with yesterday’s rate. The price of 22-carat gold is currently ₹14,145 per gram, compared with ₹14,270 per gram yesterday.
This represents a decline of ₹125 per gram. Based on the current rate, 8 grams of 22-carat gold is priced at ₹1,13,160, while 10 grams is priced at ₹1,41,450.
The price of 24-carat gold has also declined compared with yesterday. Today, 24-carat gold is priced at ₹14,852 per gram. The price for 8 grams stands at ₹1,18,816, while 10 grams is priced at ₹1,48,520.
Meanwhile, 18-carat gold is being sold at ₹11,573 per gram today. The price for 8 grams of 18-carat gold is ₹92,584, while 10 grams is priced at ₹1,15,730.
The decline in gold prices across the different purity categories has brought down the cost compared with the previous day. Buyers looking to purchase gold today can therefore compare the latest rates with yesterday’s prices before making their purchase.
In contrast to gold, there has been no change in silver prices today. Silver continues to be priced at ₹255 per gram, the same rate recorded yesterday.
The price of 1 kilogram of silver is currently ₹2,55,000. The unchanged silver rate means there has been no movement in the price compared with the previous day.
Overall, today’s precious metals market in Tamil Nadu has seen a decline in gold prices, while silver prices have remained stable. The most notable change is in 22-carat gold, which has fallen by ₹125 per gram from yesterday’s rate.
