Rtr Naveen Prasath was installed as the 2nd President of Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Changemakers in a well organised function at The Auditors Association of South India (TAASI) Hall, RS Puram, Coimbatore from 11 AM to 12.30 PM on Sunday, 06 September 2026. The installation took place in the presence of Chief Guest, Lion Dr. Radha Bellan, Founder ABWOA, Guest of Honour, Rtr Vijay Vignesh, Special Invitees Mrs.M.Indira, Vice President, ABWOA and Rtn Karthikeyan P, Rotary Advisor, Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Changemakers. 

Rtr.Vishnu Shankar, the Charter President of the club welcomed the gathering. Rtr Naveen Prasath, the Charter Secretary of the club presented the annual report of activities for the year 2026-27. He explained how the new club organised on 02 July 2026 and chartered on 14 July 2026 found its feet quickly to carry out 97 projects in the Rotary Year 2026-27. He mentioned that how the project CODE RED, a Blood Donation Awareness Programme was appreciated by all and that the club was recognised with Best New Rotaract Club for the year 2026-27. In his farewell address, Rtr Vishnu Shankar reflected on the learnings from last year and thanked his club  members, family, friends and sponsoring Rotary Club for their unstinted support. 

The introduction of the new President Rtr Naveen Prasath was done using a video and a lovely poem A-Z of Rtr Naveen. In the august presence of the dignitaries and audience, Rtr Vishnu Shankar installed Rtr Naveen Prasath as the 2nd President of Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Changemakers. Rtr Naveen Prasath thanked the club members for the opportunity and ensured that he will lead the club to greater heights. He wanted to ensure that all members participate and enjoy the benefits of leadership, fellowship and service opportunities offered by Rotaract Club. He introduced his team of office bearers in a delightful manner by imagining their life 5 years later. He installed the 16 office bearers and provided them with pins and appointment letters. The club launched their pet project FEED THE NEEDY with Mrs.Indira launching the project poster and theme. 

In his address, Rtn Karthikeyan advised the club to make a difference - to themselves and to the society. He recollected how his learnings from Rotaract helped him grow as a professional and a leader. He asked the members to consciously and collectively plan and execute their projects. He wished the new team all the best and vouched for the support of the parent Rotary club. 

The Guest of Honour, Rtr Vijay Vignesh requested the young club to exponentially enhance their vibe as an unit. He briefly explained how Rotaract can impact lives and commended the club for their journey. He asked the club to take up more activities, impact more people and inspire more leaders. He thanked sponsoring Rotary Club of Coimbatore Changemakers for their support to the Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Changemakers and to Rotaract District 3206. 

Lion Dr.Radha Bellan, Chief Guest and Founder of ABWOA firstly congratulated the 16 member club for coming together as a group to improve the society. She found the enthusiasm of the young group infectious and looked forward to seeing this enthusiasm translate into  effective action. She asked the club members to think outside the box and deliver beyond expectations. She explained the need for service and how service organisations connected at national and international levels can create lasting impact. She wished the club the very best. 

Rtn.Vikash Subramani, Director Community Service, Rotary E-Club of Coimbatore Changemakers, Rtr.Sanjay, DRR Elect and Rtr.Sudarshan, Treasurer, Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Cosmos offered felicitations. Rtr.Prawin Kumar, Secretary - Admin proposed the Vote of Thanks. Rtr.Tharun, Secretary - Communication led the invocation prayer and National Anthem. The meeting was attended by members of Rotaract Club of Coimbatore Changemakers, their family members, Rotarians of Coimbatore Changemakers and fellow leaders of Rotaract District 3206.
