Prajai Technology Signs MoU with Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology to Strengthen Industry–Academia Collaboration

Prajai Technology Private Limited and Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on February 11, 2026, in Coimbatore, aiming to strengthen industry–academia collaboration and enhance practical learning opportunities for students.

The partnership focuses on providing advanced technical training, internships, project opportunities, and placement support, especially in emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twin applications, and other IT domains.

Under the agreement, Prajai Technology will offer free internship opportunities to two batches of Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS) second- and third-year students, while additional internships will be available at minimal cost. The company will also support two batches of final-year students to undertake projects in its specialized research areas, with opportunities to publish their work in journals or conferences.

The MoU includes curriculum support, industry interaction for faculty and students, consultancy projects, placement assistance based on performance, and joint training programs. Students with strong programming skills, particularly in object-oriented languages, will receive priority during placement assistance.

The collaboration also promotes research partnerships, value-added courses, one-credit industry-supported programs, and regular workshops and seminars to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry needs.

The agreement will remain valid for two years and may be renewed by mutual consent. The MoU was signed by Arunkumar Gowrishankar, CEO of Prajai Technology Private Limited, and Dr. S. U. Prabha, Principal of Dr. N.G.P. Institute of Technology, who expressed confidence that the partnership will enhance skill development, research exposure, and career opportunities for students.
