SOLAR ENTREPREUNERSHIP PROGRAMME AT COIMBATORE

The National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) in association with Ministry of New and Renewable Energy(MNRE) will organise a 9 days long Entrepreunership Skill Development Programme (ESDP) on Solar Entrepreunership from 24 February 2026 to 04 March 2026 at Government College of Technology, Coimbatore.
The ESDP on Solar Entrepreneurship is designed to create skilled entrepreuners in the field of solar energy by combining technical knowledge, legal compliance awareness and entrepreunership skills. The participation in the programme would enable young people to enable or enhance solar related business.
The programme would involve hands on training on solar energy products and deep insights on basics of enterprise management. The programme would also include industry oriented training and mentoring support. The programme would be handled by expert faculty from both solar and entrepreunership domains. The participants would also get to network with established players in the industry. On successful completion of the programme, the participants will be provided with a certificate from Ministry of New and Renewable Energy which would enable them to speed track their entrepreunership journey.
