Sunrisers Hyderabad secured a commanding 47-run victory over Delhi Capitals in the 31st match of IPL 2026, marking their third consecutive win in the tournament.
Batting first, Sunrisers Hyderabad posted a massive total of 242 for 2 in 20 overs. Abhishek Sharma delivered a sensational innings, scoring 135 runs off 68 balls, including 10 boundaries and 10 sixes, registering the highest individual score of the season. He was well supported by Travis Head, who scored 37 runs, and captain Ishan Kishan, who added 25. Heinrich Klaasen remained unbeaten on 37, providing a strong finish.
In response, Delhi Capitals struggled to keep up with the steep target and managed 195 for 9 in their 20 overs. KL Rahul scored 37 runs, while Nitish Rana contributed 57. Sameer Rizvi added 41 runs, but the team fell short despite their efforts.
