Ahead of Vijay’s visit, senior DMK leaders including M.R.K. Panneerselvam, Sekarbabu, and Udhayanidhi Stalin had arrived at Stalin’s residence.
After meeting M.K. Stalin, Chief Minister Vijay also met MDMK general secretary Vaiko.
Political observers described Vijay’s visit as a courtesy meeting following his swearing-in as Chief Minister. The meeting had generated significant public interest because Vijay had strongly criticized Stalin during the election campaign.
Many were eager to know how the two leaders would interact after the heated political exchanges during the campaign period. However, the much-anticipated meeting concluded in a calm and simple manner.
Vijay’s visit created a buzz around Stalin’s Alwarpet residence, with leaders including Anbil Mahesh and Ezhilan Naganathan also seen visiting the location during the high-profile interaction.
