Film Society Screening to Feature Haq (2025), a Powerful Courtroom Drama on Women’s Rights

Film lovers in Coimbatore are invited to a special Film Society screening of Haq (2025), an acclaimed Hindi-language social drama directed by Suparn Verma. The screening will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at 6:00 PM at Clusters Institute of Media and Technology, Peelamedu, Coimbatore.

Set in 1980s India, Haq tells the compelling story of Shazia Bano, a woman who takes her husband to court after he abandons her and their children.
