Orientation Programme Empowers Students for a Better Future

KV Institute of Management Information Studies (KVIM), Coimbatore, organized an impactful orientation programme titled “Empowering Students for a Better Future” at White Eagle Public School, Annur, on April 9, 2026.

The programme was conducted from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and benefited students from Classes 3 to 10. It focused on enhancing academic skills, personal development, and digital awareness among young learners.


Focus on Academic and Life Skills Development

The initiative was part of KVIM’s extension and outreach activities aimed at supporting school students while also providing MBA students with hands-on experiential learning and community engagement opportunities.

The event was conducted with the support of the school management under the guidance of Principal Tr. Antony V. V. and Vice Principal Mrs. Alam.

The programme emphasized:

  • Effective study habits
  • Time management techniques
  • Confidence building
  • Responsible use of digital platforms

Interactive and Engaging Learning Sessions

The sessions were coordinated by Ms. Janane, Assistant Professor at KVIM, and delivered by MBA student resource persons through interactive and activity-based learning methods.

  • Ms. Ramya Rajan led a session on communication and life skills, helping students improve self-expression through practical activities and real-life examples.
  • Mr. Magesh Kanna S conducted a session on study skills and time management, guiding students on goal setting, organizing study schedules, and improving focus.
  • Mr. Nithishkumar V handled the digital awareness and cyber safety session, educating students about online risks and safe internet practices.

The programme also included group discussions, Q&A sessions, and interactive activities to ensure effective engagement across different age groups.

The orientation programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who actively engaged in all sessions. Participants gained:
