Gold Price in Tamil Nadu Surges by Rs.800 Per Sovereign Today; Silver Rates Also Rise
Gold prices in Tamil Nadu increased by Rs.800 per sovereign on Friday, pushing the price of an 8-gram sovereign to Rs.1,16,800. Silver prices have also witnessed an upward trend.
Gold prices in Tamil Nadu have witnessed a sharp increase today (Friday), bringing fresh concerns for jewellery buyers and investors. The price of gold has risen by Rs.800 per sovereign in a single day, making purchases more expensive for consumers planning to buy jewellery.
According to the latest market rates, one gram of gold is being sold at Rs.14,600, while an 8-gram sovereign of gold is priced at Rs.1,16,800 across Tamil Nadu.
Silver prices have also moved higher alongside gold. One gram of silver is currently being sold at Rs.290, while the price of one kilogram of silver has reached Rs.2,90,000.
Gold prices have been experiencing frequent fluctuations in recent weeks due to factors such as global economic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions, international market trends, and changes in investor sentiment. The latest increase has further impacted buyers who were waiting for prices to stabilize before making purchases.
