Study World College of Engineering conducts a vibrant voter awareness rally in Coimbatore, encouraging 100% voting ahead of Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
Study World College of Engineering in Palathurai, Coimbatore, organized a voter awareness rally on April 10 ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026 scheduled for April 23. The initiative aimed to promote electoral awareness and encourage maximum voter participation.
The rally, held in the Palathurai area, witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 200 students who actively engaged in spreading awareness among the public. Students carried banners highlighting the importance of voting and participated in various cultural activities to attract public attention.

A key highlight of the rally was the creative presentation, including the bird mascot Vaakuveeran Iruvaachi, along with traditional silambam performances and dance displays. These elements added vibrancy to the event and helped effectively engage local residents and passersby.
Faculty members and students emphasized the importance of voting in a democratic system and urged all eligible citizens to cast their votes responsibly. Special focus was given to first-time voters, encouraging them to make informed decisions and actively participate in the electoral process.

The programme began with a pledge taken by both staff and students, reaffirming their commitment to vote without fail and contribute to strengthening democracy.
