Coimbatore Police Announces Free Marathon Under Mission Drug-Free Coimbatore
The Coimbatore District Police has announced a free marathon titled 'Oru Mudivin Thodakkam' on August 8 as part of its Mission Drug-Free Coimbatore campaign. Participants can register free and compete for prizes worth ₹1 lakh.

The Coimbatore District Police has announced a free marathon titled "Oru Mudivin Thodakkam" as part of its Mission Drug-Free Coimbatore initiative, aimed at creating awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and promoting a healthy lifestyle among the public.
The marathon is scheduled to take place on August 8 at 5:00 AM and will feature two categories: a 5K Open Run for participants of all ages and a 2K Fun Run exclusively for children below 10 years.
Participation in the event is completely free, encouraging people from all walks of life to join the campaign and support the district's vision of a drug-free society. Every participant who completes the marathon will receive an official participation certificate.
To make the event even more exciting, the organisers have announced prizes worth a total of ₹1 lakh for eligible winners across various categories.
The Coimbatore District Police has invited residents, fitness enthusiasts, students, families, and running communities to take part in the event and spread the message of health, fitness, and social responsibility.
