Vijay Accuses DMK Government of Obstructing TVK Election Campaigns in Tamil Nadu

Vijay, leader of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam, has accused the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam government of creating obstacles for his party’s election campaigns in Tamil Nadu. In a statement shared on his X (formerly Twitter) account, Vijay alleged that authorities are deliberately causing disruptions during the campaign period.

He claimed that permissions for campaign events are being delayed, restricted, or even canceled at the last moment, making it difficult for candidates and party members to carry out planned activities. He also accused the ruling government of spreading misleading information through media channels to confuse the public regarding campaign permissions.

Vijay further stated that despite these challenges, his party is not solely dependent on traditional campaign methods and that public support is growing organically across the state. He emphasized that Tamil Nadu has a strong history of social justice and secular values, and expressed confidence that voters will respond decisively in the upcoming elections.

He urged the public to remain vigilant and not be misled, calling for a strong democratic response in the elections scheduled later this month.
