A youth from near Rasipuram in Namakkal district has reportedly purchased one acre of land on the Moon as a wedding gift for his future wife.
According to reports, he made the purchase online through an international lunar land registry website by paying money digitally. He has reportedly received documents and ownership certificates related to the purchase.
