7 Arrested in Coimbatore Drug Sale Case; 3.5 Kg Ganja and 1,708 Drug Tablets Seized
Seven people were arrested in Coimbatore for allegedly selling drugs near the international airport. Police seized 3.5 kg of ganja, 1,708 drug tablets and Rs. 21,000 cash.

Police have arrested seven people for allegedly selling drugs in an area behind Coimbatore International Airport.
Acting on information about drug sales in the area, Peelamedu police conducted a search and arrested seven people. Police said they seized 1,708 drug tablets, 3.5 kg of ganja and Rs. 21,000 in cash from those arrested.
According to police, the accused had allegedly travelled to Maharashtra to purchase drug tablets at lower prices and then sold them in Coimbatore. The seized drug tablets are reportedly valued at more than Rs. 5 lakh.
Police are continuing their investigation to determine whether more people are involved in the case and to identify any further links in the alleged drug supply network.
