Tesla to Open New Experience Centre in Chennai This Week
Tesla is set to open a new Experience Centre in Chennai this week, expanding its sales and customer service presence in Tamil Nadu and strengthening its reach across South India.

Chennai: US-based electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla is set to open a new Experience Centre in Chennai this week as part of its efforts to expand its sales and customer service presence in India.
Following its centres in Hyderabad and Bengaluru, the Chennai Experience Centre will become Tesla’s third outlet in South India and its sixth sales outlet in India.
Tesla has reportedly sold more than 600 cars in India so far in 2026, with 38 vehicles sold in Tamil Nadu. The launch of the new Experience Centre in Chennai is expected to expand Tesla’s sales and customer access across the state.
Tesla currently offers two Model Y variants in India: the Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and the Model Y L All-Wheel Drive. The new Chennai centre will give customers an opportunity to view Tesla vehicles in person and learn more about their features, technology and services.
The opening is expected to further strengthen Tesla’s presence in Tamil Nadu and provide customers in Chennai and surrounding areas with easier access to the brand’s electric vehicles and services.
